Waimea Canyon Downhill Bike Tour

Kauai biking means 100% downhill from the rim of the Waimea Canyon (elevation 3500) down 12 miles. AM biking tour watches sunrise at Canyon; PM biking tour watches sunset over Niihau.

The Bikes: Great cruisers with wide, comfy saddles, hi-rise handlebars, Sturmey Archer internal braking hubs-fun and easy to ride!
What time? Morning Tour: check in at 6am, done at 10:30 am, Afternoon Tour: check in at 2:30pm, done at 7pm.

Where? Poipu.
What to wear and bring? Dress in layers for cool weather up top, peel 'em off at the rest stops as it warms up on the way down, bring a windbreaker or light rain coat, shoes with closed toes (not sandals), eyeglasses.
Food and drink? AM tour- blueberry muffins, hot coffee or tea, and cold drinks, PM tour-cold drinks and Kauai Kookies.
